A behavior I’m actively retiring right now is the need to argue with invisible people in my head about justifying my actions. Because of how I was raised, because of how we were all raised, that we had to carry the burden of proof for our experiences, I’ve spent the majority of my free time in disagreement with varying villains that live rent free in my brain. Which, is pointless and a form of self-harm.

So. That was a fun realization. But I started to really notice it when I first realized that the matriarchy has been fighting its way out of me for the past 4 years. Right? So, early this year when I was on a mini road trip I spent four hours grilling myself in a fake job interview for the matriarchy in my own head.

I like, almost got the job too. Y’all. LOL.

I listed all of my skills, all of my trauma, all of the harm I’ve been on the receiving end of because I was sexualized before I could even speak. And my body was objectified, harmed, abused, neglected, and thrown away like trash by those willing to be in power over my innocence.

But. Y’all. The matriarchy isn’t like that. Are you a human being who wants other people to do well? Do you think that caring for vulnerable people is the way to move ourselves forward? Are you sick of the current system and ready for us to operate from love as the center of our beings? Great. Congratulations. You’re part of the matriarchy now. Regardless of gender.

But it’s not conquered. True power can never be conquered. It rises up within you, because you finally realized how bad the current system is for EVERYONE.

Especially the billionaires. And the so called Elites. But what are they elite in? Seriously? Fuckery? Ewww.

The average person who doesn’t have to harm another human being for their pleasure or wellbeing is far more elite than….Anyone in the e-files. Hard stop.

And so, if you’re no longer willing to accept the terms and conditions of this paradigm. If you’re beginning to see through the BS of our current age. Then. Congratulations. You’re the proud owner of the matriarchy in your heart.

All of the marginalized people will share power and create a world where everyone has the opportunity to do well. And the hierarchy of this age will fade away like a Polaroid picture left in the sun.

But – we have to stop posturing ourselves in justification for the shift. The patriarchy failed. Religion failed. And I can no longer shrink myself to fit in the paradigm created to destroy me from conception. Because, how dare I host a uterus in my human body.

I am done. I will no longer engage in a paradigm that is unwilling to acknowledge the extraordinary effort it took to heal myself and come home to loving my human body.

I will hold myself in power, justifying my birthright to lead to nobody.

And, women everywhere. Especially those working through your matriarchal training, stop arguing with your shadows and start charging them the rent of curiosity so that you can heal them rather than staying in the loops of justification and the burden of proof. Because you will only hold the freedom of the matriarchy in your soul once you’ve retired these loops of endless bullshit within you.

All of this has always been between you and you anyway.
